Hazel Sutton

Hazel Sutton imageMy jewellery is predominantly of silver and copper which I often combine together. My love of iconography is translated into often witty but contemporary themes. I have been making jewellery for a number of years now and never get tired of new techniques and ideas that inspire me to create.

I mainly paint with acrylics, but also work with pencil. I tend to use a broad range of subjects, preferably natural (landscapes, people and animals). I’ve gained inspiration from many sources including magazines and newspapers. I enjoy amalgamating different pictures or scenes in order to construct the look that you see in a lot of my work. I love the dreamscape look.

Jeweller

Coming from a background of hairdressing and floristry, jewellery design seemed to be a natural progression incorporating textures, colours and materials to suit the individual. My bespoke jewellery is all handmade to suite a variety of client tastes and requirements and to that end offers a unique design concept. I also offer free ‘one-to-one’ consultations for commission orders.

Rachel Smith

Rachel’s primary art medium is photography; she also enjoys printmaking, enamelling and collage. Her subjects are varied and she likes to capture the world at its best by using an alternative view point other than standard eye height. She uses both digital and film cameras and prefers to have total control of the image through the lens, film type, composition and camera settings.

Sue Robson

Sue Robson imageI produce graphic contemporary prints exploring natural elements and simple everyday objects. I use birds frequently in my work as representations of relationships. I am often inspired by a quote from a book or from a snippet of conversation or a well known saying, which I sometimes use as the titles. I consider screen printing an ideal way to combine my line drawing with colour.
I have successfully worked as an Illustrator and I have illustrated a Childrens book and I have also designed soft toys for ‘Jellycat’.

I paint mostly in oil but sometimes multimedia – acrylic, watercolour, ink, print, collage, embroidery… mainly commissions for family and friends.   I take inspiration from dreams, fantasy, childhood, nature, spiritual symbolism, human and animal forms…  My paintings often tell a story – sometimes dark, sometimes playful!
